Loved this place, such a welcoming and chill vibe. The food is amazing, innovative flavours...just wish I could eat more! I love that you can mix and match the flavours of the dumplings. And to have it all be vegan, well, my day was made. Lovely staff member made me feel very comfortable
I ordered the salt and pepper chips and they were maybe the nicest chips I’ve had all year and maybe last year too. We then skeptically tried the brownie dumplings but boy was I wowzad. Also really nice staff and I like it when places have complimentary mints it makes me feel special
Found this place as we were exploring Afflecks. A wonderful but small plant based dumpling diner. Plenty of choice and really cool vibes. Be warned this place does have limited seating, but if you get there at a good time you will.not be disappointed!
Came with family for lunch.. Service was good. Foods were served Fresh and Hot. Ordered Sharer Box Deal, Ramen(but No stock) replaced by Udon chip shop curry. Overall good experience and Dumplings fry fresh with 3 dippings sauce.
Delicious dumplings, yummy noodles and really friendly service - would recommend! We had the salt and pepper chips, curry ramen noodles, and a 9 of pick and mix dumplings. All the dumplings were yummy, but special shout out to cheeseburger and duck dumplings! The whole place is vegan, and they e got some really good soft drink cans to choose from too. The lady in charge is really chilled out, and you pay when you leave. It’s not a large place, so not really accessible or for larger groups, but up to 6 in a group would be fine (space for maybe 23 people max).
Great choice of food. We had the sharer box and loved it. My only slight improvement would be not to serve it on paper as we ended up with paper in our mouths! But that’s just nit-picking because everything tasted good. Service was impeccable—super kind, smiley and welcoming staff.
such a lovely spot with such creative menu items! the person working was so lovely and we had a nice little chat with her about the origin story of the place and about our plans for the day. we ordered a box with 3 different dumplings each and shared the salt and pepper hash browns and chips. it was food heaven !!
I've been to Aflecks many times. But today for the 1st time. I tried Desert Island Dumplings. And so glad about it. Had the Hash Browns Poutenie. (Spelt wrong I know) :-( Anyway oh my goodness. What a delicious taste sensation. And very filling. My food stayed hot. They were so chunky. The onion gravy was definitely a lovely consistency. The vegan cheese was even awesome. (Being filter coffee-that was too strong.) But I'll be having chocolate oat milk on my next visit. The staff member was calm and courteous. I'm looking forward to my next time. Might 2 mock dumplings and 1 breakfast dumpling. Thankyou for lovely experience. My belly still feels happy and full. A few hours later. :-)
